The Monterey Bay Aquarium is a aquarium inside the city of Monterey. The aquarium includes a lot of amazing things kids would like. Monterey Bay Aquarium includes a lot of exhibits like tropical fish exhibits, jellyfish exhibits, and even a outdoor section!
When you enter the aquarium, you find yourself in a large room with whales hooked into the ceiling. Next to the entrance, there is a kelp forest which fishes and otters move freely. Also next to the entrance is a cafe and a gift shop.
Outside the aquarium, there is a huge tide pool to see and a turtle exhibit. The special exhibit that must be visited is the waterfall (rocky shore Wave Crash gallery) exhibit, where people sit beneath the glass which holds the rushing water.
The second floor has play areas, with a play structure and a water area where kids can learn about the water cycle. Right next to the play area is the penguin exhibit. It has many African Penguins to watch. A separate building includes the exhibits Tentacles, Viva Baja, and a exhibit explaining how wildlife in the ocean is being threatened by humans.
