Las Vegas and Los Angeles Trip - Part One
Day One
We drove from the San Francisco Bay Area to Las Vegas. It took us about 9 hours to get there. We left at around 9:00 in the morning and got to Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino at 6:00 in the evening.
Not bad for the highway conditions. And luckily we had two drivers to rotate. We stayed in Mandalay Bay for the night.

Day Two
It was almost winter time when we visited. Most of beach activities were closed. But we were able to enjoy a small heated pool in Moorea Beach Club next to the beach area. What a relax during such an early winter day.

After the morning beachside relaxing, we went visiting the famous Reef Shark Aquarium in Mandalay Bay. There they exhibited more than 2,000 animals, including sharks, giant rays, endangered green sea turtles, piranha and a Komodo dragon. We really enjoyed what we had experienced in the aquarium.

We then drove couples of block on the Las Vegas Strip and checked in Aria Resort & Casino where we would stay for that night.

In the evening, we watched the O Show. O Show is a water-themed stage show at the Bellagio. We were so impressed with their performance.

Day Three
Having under aged kid with us, we didn’t get to play slot machines easily. However, so many themed hotels around the Strip were making us take good amount of time to look around. The free tram that connects a bunch of hotels served a great help as you don’t want to walk all the way to get exhausted and you don’t want to drive all the way to miss details.

Our visited casinos included Mandalay Bay, Luxor, Excalibur, New York-New York, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Mirage, Treasure Island, The Venetian, The Palazzo and Wynn.

The buffet at Aria is recommended. Their crab legs are very good.
We stayed in Aria Resort & Casino for the night.
